About the Doctor :
Having lectured and practiced in Medicine & Cardiology in University Malaya's Medical Centre (UMMC), for over five years, Dr. Haizal is now a Consultant, Interventional Cardiologist at Tropicana Medical Centre. With over ten years of experience in the field of cardiology, Dr. Haizal holds an exceptionally keen interest in interventional cardiology. To date, he is also one of the few cardiologists in Malaysia with a special interest in peripheral vascular disease, working very closely with vascular surgical surgeons on limb salvation. Dr. Haizal also conducts various talks and seminars on cardiology and managing heart diseases in addition to practicing in other areas of expertise such as transradial coronary intervention and primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PPCI) in acute myocardial infarction (AMI).

DR EDWARD MAH MUN JEUN

About the Doctor :
Dr Edward Mah graduated from Sydney University in 1994 and trained at Westmead Hospital, Sydney before returning to Malaysia. He served as a Specialist Physician with the government in Penang and Sungai Petani before doing his training in Cardiology at Hospital Sultanah Aminah, Johor Bahru. This was followed by an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship in Melbourne where he gained extensive experience with primary infarct angioplasty, complex PCI, intravascular ultrasound and rotablation. During this time he also co-developed a training program for Interventional Cardiologists. Dr Mah provides services in cardiac assessment and non-invasive cardiac imaging, diagnostic and interventional Cardiology, as well as pacemaker implantation and management.
