About the Doctor :
One of the most senior specialists at Tropicana Medical Centre, Dr. Gangaram brings to the table over 31 years of experience in the field of medicine. Having practiced in Dermatology for the past 23 years in Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Dr. Gangaram has received numerous awards which include the British High Commissioner's Award (Chevening Scholar) from UK in 1987 and the Fulbright Scholarship from USA in 2002. Prior to joining Tropicana Medical Centre, he was the Head of the Laser & Dermatosurgery Unit and the Sexually Transmitted Infections Unit at the Dermatology Centre of Hospital Kuala Lumpur. Dr. Gangaram was also a lecturer for medical students in UKM, UPM, UM & trainee dermatologists of UKM. He is the Chairman of the Cosmetic Dermatology & Laser Surgery Board of the Dermatological Society of Malaysia and one of the five Programme Directors for the Asian Dermatologic Laser and Surgery Group. In addition he is also the Chairman of the Malaysian Psoriasis Registry and sits on the Board of the Advanced Masters in Dermatology Programme & National Specialist Register for Dermatology.
