About the Doctor :
Dr. Ganes is a highly experienced senior medical professional, having served close to 20 years in the government sector. Previously attached to Hospital Kuala Lumpur as the Head of Gastroenterlogy, Dr. Ganes was also a senior trainer in field of Gastroenterology for the Ministry of Health. Dr. Ganes obtained his MRCP in 1993 and was elevated to the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCP) in 2002. Having received his subspecialisation training in Japan and Australia, his areas of interest include therapeutic endoscopy including ERCPs, clinical gut function studies such as manometry and ambulatory pH studies, Capsule Endoscopy, Single and Double Balloon Enteroscopy and PEG tube insertions. In addition, Dr. Ganes has also conducted numerous hands-on training sessions for surgeons and gastroenterologist in Hospital Kuala Lumpur.

About the Doctor :
Dr. Gan is a skillful and experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist, having been gazetted by the Ministry of Health as a Gastroenterologist and Internal Medicine Physician. With over 12 years of experience in medicine and 6 years in Gastroenterology, Dr. Gan has developed his skills and experience in all form of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures such as ERCP, stenting, PEG, dilatation, polypectomy, EMR, manometry, pH - Impedance study, and haemostasis of GI bleed. He also has extensive experience in managing liver cases such as cirrhosis, fatty liver, Hepatitis B and C. His research works have been presented both locally and internationally and he has also obtained international awards and recognitions.
